Welcome to Days to Pay
Supports for BlackBerry OS v5+ and the new BlackBerry Playbook.
Days to Pay is brand new tool to help empower you to make informed financial decisions. It's the second website in a series I'm creating to help visualize debt. The first in the series is The Real Damage, which got radio, internet press and was also mentioned in the Wall Street Journal.
The idea is simple. How long do I need to work to pay for something? The answer is not so simple, and that's why I created this site, to simplify the calculation and to make it easy for everyone to simply plug in a few numbers and get a fairly accurate result. Fairly accurate you say? Well yes... I'm sure you don't want to spend the day entering all your personal finacial details just to increase the accuracy by a couple minutes. I have however provided enough functionality to give you good results.
Click on the "Configure your Days to Pay" button/tab to begin your journey. If you need any help, you can refer to [this] page for more information on how the calculator works and to explore it's more advanced functionality. To get you started, I've defaulted the values to what a typical hourly worker might work.
After you've learned just how long you'd have to work to pay off that purchase, please head over to The Real Damage to learn how much the money would be really worth if you used it to pay off a piece of your debt.
Thanks for visiting, I hope you find my calculators useful.
